We often get asked, “What is a Virtual Assistant/VA?” And the answer is… we are many things.

You're busy. Right? And you just don't have time to do all the things in your business that you know you need to do, right? Or... maybe there are tasks that you just really don't want to do. That's where a VA comes in. A very basic explanation is this: Think of a VA as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, but we work remotely. Virtually. (no, the Virtual part doesn't mean we are robots - but it has been asked! I promise we are human) Our job is to help you within your business, to reduce the overwhelm and give you time to focus on the tasks you are good at and enjoy. To do the things that make the most difference in your business. But it can get much more specific than that.

We'll explain some more below.

Whether you’d like help with things like content, social media, phone and inbox management and minute taking. You name it, there’s a VA out there that does it.  Virtual Assistants offer different specialties and niches, so you must find the right one for you.

In terms of what Nota Bene - Virtual Assistants can offer you?

Our love is words. Lots of words. And content. Whether it’s social media management, getting you set up on Pinterest, creating, writing and managing your newsletter and email lists, creating juicy lead magnets or blog posts, writing is our jam.

We also have been known to dabble in a bit of Podcast management, and as of late 2023 we are also now offering Event Management! It might seem like a bit of a tangent but given how much Nikki loves organising, it's slotting in quite nicely to our realm of services!

It doesn’t matter where in the world you are based, the beauty of a Virtual Assistant is that we are remote anyway, and so between Zoom, email and messaging apps, we can still work efficiently. We are based in New Zealand (Tauranga, Cambridge and Rotorua) and also have a couple of international team members.

One of the best parts of having your own Virtual Assistant (besides having more time for the things you WANT to do), is that we are only paid for the time we are working for you. So you aren’t paying sick/annual leave or ACC, or paying us to sit around at quiet times. You are invoiced for the hours we work or per project, and that is it. No sneaky surprises, and when your Virtual Assistant is performing tasks for you, we work ONLY for you, there is no other client work during that time.
