5 Ways to Keep Your Content Going Over Summer

Because showing up online shouldn’t stop when you do

Summer’s coming. You want a break (and you deserve it!), but you also don’t want to lose momentum. This time of year can feel like everything slows down - but your content doesn’t need to.

Here’s how to keep showing up online without burning out - and why now’s the time to set things up for a smoother start to 2026.

1. Reuse content that worked in the past

If you’ve been creating content all year, you don’t need to start from scratch now. Look at what’s worked - a post that sparked replies, a blog that got clicks, a pin that keeps getting saves - and bring it back with a fresh angle or updated caption.

No one’s scrolling your back catalogue. Say it again. Repeat the message. Let it do its job.

2. Schedule before you switch off

A few hours now can give you weeks of breathing room later. Set aside time to schedule December and early January content - whether it’s on socials, email, Pinterest, or all three.

Keep it simple. Even one post a week is better than going silent.

3. Use templates and systems

There’s no prize for custom-creating every piece of content. Use what you’ve already built: Canva templates, caption frameworks, checklists. If your team needs to help you publish while you’re off - give them a clear plan and pre-approved content.

This is where systems matter. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to be clear.

4. Focus on useful, relevant content

You don’t need big opinions or “hot takes” this time of year. Just stay helpful.
Share a quick tip, a reminder, a relevant blog link, a quote that actually means something. This kind of content builds trust - and that’s what keeps your name front of mind.

5. Think beyond January

The best way to start 2026 strong is to make a plan before the holidays hit. Whether you need a content strategy session, scheduling help, or just a way to make your marketing feel more manageable - talk to us now, not mid-January when everything feels urgent.
